You never played that game? It's pretty good :)

For once the robot masters aren't named "-Man" but after the planets.

You know, I'm going to have to add Mega Water S the way everyone keeps telling me that I forgot him!  Maybe early next year, once I actually get some free time (and find a decent place to put him - the pic is pretty crowded as it is).

I don't blame you, besides The MegaWorld Corps/Genesis Unit in my opinion are the most under-rated Megaman bosses.

Personally, I wouldn't count Pirateman as an Aquos Robot Master, because his weapon, Remote Mine is an explosion-type weapon...neither Splash Woman's energy-type Laser Trident...

Either way, 'tis pretty good! ^_^

Not to mention Diveman's explosion-type Dive Missile...

For all those mentioned, it was much more of 'water-motif' decision to include them more than anything. Centaur Man was almost included due to his stage being a good chunk water based.

Think you could do some similar pics for: Fire, Ice, Electricity, etc.? I'd really like to see that one pulled off. ;)

I've done fire - [link]

My plan is to do the others based on weapon/element type one I can rub two minutes together to do them with. Next was going to be the bladed weapon RMs (Cut Man, Sword Man, Shadow Man, etc.)

I had to put him up front - he's the first water-type boss to be created, and therefore the best. Although, I am kinda keen on Aqua Man's 'top hat' style of design.

Lacks Burst Man but it's arguable that in spite of his stage's aquatic theme and that he makes bubbles, he's more a bomb type than an aquatic type.

And that's exactly why I didn't include him. He would be in a poster with Bomb Man, Crash Man, Grenade Man, Commando Man, etc. You could almost make a Pokemon-style game, using the bosses' themes as types (ice, fire, water and rock are certainly covered).

The only two that I can think of that were a big challenge, at least at first, were Dive Man and Splash Woman. Otherwise...yeah, wusses. XD
Awesome pic! I love group shots like this.

I had an idea to my game: Since Sonic characters can't stand underwater for long as mega man, Bubble lead can save your partners life(Bubble man's stage has places, which blows air at water or something that way). Anyway, just what i waited, sadly, colored already

Bubble Lead has Sulfuric Acid in it though, you wouldn't want to inhale that.

We are now talking about HERO version of bubble lead. Poison is removed from this version, but good point anyway

:iconfireflyyoshi:
FireflyYoshi Featured By Owner Oct 2, 2012  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Acid isn't the same as poison. And if you removed that, there would be no combat purposes to it, and Bubble Man was built -for- underwater combat.
